FEED YOUR SKIN WITH ARGAN OIL

Argan oil is a 100% natural oil extracted from the Argan nuts which grow in the south western parts of Morocco as well as the western regions of Algeria. The Argan tree is naturally grown so is not subjected to any chemicals. Argan trees live for up to 200 years, and may not come in to full production till they are 40 to 60 years old.

The production of Argan oil is very labor intensive and the task is taken on by the Berber women of the region. It takes one and a half days to produce 1 liter of Argan oil.
100kg of Argan nut are required to produce 1-2kg of Argan oil.

Argan oil has twice as much Vitamin E as Olive oil and is very rich in Antioxidants. Argan also contains 8 essential fatty acids including Linoleic which is not produced in the body and must be taken as a supplement. Studies have shown that as little as 0.5% linoleic acid can reduce Breast, Colorectal, Lung, Skin and Stomach Cancer.
Argan oil contains 34-36 % Linoleic Acid.
It is rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9. Which target Cell growth, aids Water retention and combats depression and builds stronger immune system.
Deficiency in Omega 9 has certain symptoms and they are the following
Eczema skin eruptions, Cracking finger tips, Dandruff, Hair loss, Behavioral changes, dry skin and Dry eyes, stiff joints, Mail sterility and Miscarriage.

Argan oil comes in cosmetic as well as Culinary version. The difference being that the nut is roasted before pressing to make the Culinary oil.
